Begoña Torre Miguel (Mieres, Asturias, 1989) holds a PhD in Art History. Her research focuses on the theoretical concept of spolium and the reuse of ancient sarcophagi during the Middle Ages. She has published several articles on the subject and has also undertaken documentary and curatorial work for various institutions. In recent years, she has worked as a guide and cultural manager at the pre-Romanesque complex of Santianes de Pravia. Most recently, she curated the exhibition NVSBLS: Invisible Women in the History of Art at Laboral Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial.
