Potsdamer altertumswissenschaftliche Beitraege
The Potsdamer altertumswissenschaftliche Beiträge (PawB) book series provides an international forum for publications – monographs and multi-authored volumes – from all areas of Classics in the widest sense. Its approach is to transcend the boundaries of sub-disciplines such as Ancient History, Archaeology, or Classical Philology, while it seeks to introduce new methods, theories, and approaches from other fields. The series was initiated in 1999 by Pedro Barceló, Peter Riemer, Jörg Rüpke (all University of Potsdam), and John Scheid (Collège de France). Its interdisciplinary approach is reflected in the volumes published to date, especially in the areas of History of Religion and the Cultural History of Antiquity.
An international audience is reached by the distribution of the series in the major languages German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish.
