Cottbuser Schriften zur Musik
The publication series of the Institute for Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg brings together publications from the fields of musicology, music theory and music pedagogy. It offers a forum for conference proceedings as well as anthologies and monographs, dissertations and post-doctoral theses.
One focus is on the institute's main areas of research: Sorbian composition and music theory and music in the border region between Germany, Poland and the Czech Republic. Special attention is also paid to piano music of the 18th and 19th centuries as well as interdisciplinary pedagogical questions regarding the teaching of music.
