Geographica Historica
This series, founded by Ernst Kirsten, is dedicated to the historical geography of the ancient world in all of its temporal, substantive, and methodological breadth. In addition to volumes dealing with the interactions of history and geography, and, in particular, the interdependencies between humans and the environment, it brings together articles dealing with historical-geographical sources. The series accepts studies that are oriented towards material aspects of space and its design, as well as those that focus on, for example, communicative, political, social, or economic implications thereof. Studies with a clear natural science perspective are also welcome, as are studies that look into the history of research in the field.
