Archiv fuer Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie
Archives for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy / Archives de Philosophie du Droit et de Philosophie Sociale / Archivo de Filosofía Jurídica y Social & supplement series
One of the largest forums for fundamental philosophical research within jurisprudence: The contributions examine and discuss the intellectual foundation of social and legal life, its interconnections and its impact. In so doing, all contemporary schools of thought and numerous methodological approaches are included. The Archiv fuer Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie (“Archive for Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy”) is published on behalf of the Internationale Vereinigung fuer Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie (IVR) – not least for this reason, special emphasis is placed on its international focus.
The journal, which has been published since 1907, provides topical observations and discussions. Just one year after its founding, the first supplements followed, dedicated to intensive debate on topics of overriding importance. All contributions go through a peer review process.
