Die Friedens-Warte
Journal of International Peace and Organization
Die Friedens-Warte – Journal of International Peace and Organization was founded in 1899 by the later Nobel Prize winner Alfred H. Fried and is the oldest journal in the German-speaking world for issues of peacekeeping and international organization. Through its international and interdisciplinary contributors, it offers a central forum for specialized discussions on peace studies. In addition, Die Friedens-Warte traditionally sees itself as an interface between scholars and practitioners for the communication of expertise for a policy of active peacebuilding.
The journal is published every six months as a double issue and includes articles in German and English from the fields of political science, law studies, economics, sociology, social psychology and social anthropology.
