Sozinianismus und Heterodoxie
Quellen und Forschungen zur Fruehen Neuzeit
During the Reformation, the major denominations were joined by new movements that contributed to the process of religious pluralisation, at times accelerating and radicalising it. These included the anti-Trinitarianism and Socinianism movements of the 16th to the early 18th century, which would have an enduring effect on academic discourse. These were not homogeneous movements, but rather different approaches, offering in different ways a critique of the dogma of the Trinity.
The series Sozinianismus und Heterodoxie devotes itself to these schools of thought. It includes treatises, multi-authored volumes, text editions and letter editions, providing a forum and central publication space to German research on Socinianism and related heterodoxies.
