Bochumer Schriften zur Friedenssicherung und zum Humanitaeren Voelkerrecht

The Bochumer Blue Books

The series Bochumer Schriften zur Friedenssicherung und zum Humanitaeren Voelkerrecht ("Bochum Papers on Peacekeeping and International Humanitarian Law") regularly publishes monographs and anthologies dealing with current issues in international law of peace and armed conflict as well as in the field of humanitarian studies. The series has been published since 1989 and was relaunched in 2017 after a discontinuation of ten years.

The volumes cover diverse topics in peace and conflict studies, such as international criminal tribunals, naval warfare, the role of combatants in armed conflicts, and East-West relations during the Cold War period. Furthermore, the publications address issues of environmental law, the protection of human rights, and humanitarian aid.
