Berichte. Geographie und Landeskunde
This journal offers a platform for academic contributions to the field of geographies of the regional, geographies of spatialization, as well as geographies of scientific regional and cultural studies. It represents the state of the art of modern regional science or regional studies. It also offers space to innovative and explorative studies from the research front. In our view, geographies of the regional include a wide range of theoretical and conceptual approaches from specific qualitative and quantitative methods/methodologies, issues of globalization, and (re)territorialization to regionally oriented investigations and representations. This creates a common discourse among scientists and scholars from geography and related fields who are oriented toward natural and cultural studies and regional issues.
