Answers to frequently asked questions regarding payment and shipping

Add the item you wish to buy directly to your shopping basket. Click on the “Add to shopping cart” button. A pop-up will appear showing the added item. Click on “Go to shopping cart” inside the pop-up or on “Shopping cart ” in the navigation menu top right to get to your shopping cart. Here you can see which items you have in your shopping cart, change the number of items you wish to buy, or remove items. The order total will change automatically if you change the number of items.

Click on “Proceed to checkout” to reach the section where you enter your billing and shipping address and select your payment method.

Click on “Submit order” to send us your order. You can find further information about the point at which the contract is concluded in our > General Terms and Conditions.

Customers with a delivery address in Germany can use the following payment methods: PayPal, credit card, payment in advance, and purchase on account (for your first purchase up to a max. order value of EUR 200).

Please note that when ordering digital products, such as eBooks, you can only pay using PayPal and credit card.

Shippable items are generally delivered up to 4 working days after your order is received.

Journals shipped within Germany are delivered 5 to 8 working days after the issue is published. Subsequent issues are also delivered within this time frame. The date upon which a given issue is published may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.

If the items you ordered are not available, we reserve the right not to provide the service. In this case we will immediately inform you about the unavailability of the item and refund any purchase price already paid. You can find further information in our > General Terms and Conditions.

For private customers, the shipping costs shown on the product/journal/subscription apply to delivery to Germany. Books are usually shipped free of charge in Germany.

For shipping to foreign countries, please get in touch with our customer service.

As a consumer you have a statutory right of cancellation. If you wish to return an item, please create a DHL return label and send the package back to us free of shipping costs. Click here for the > DHL returns portal. Please note the > General Terms and Conditions and the > Cancellation Policy.
