Revision

Procedure
- After submission of the corrected proofs, we need – depending on the number of corrections – about 2 weeks to incorporate the requested changes.
- We will send you the second (or revision) proof as a PDF file for checking and approval.
- In case of edited volumes, the second proof is only sent to the editor responsible, not to the contributors.
- You only need to send back to us the pages that still need to be changed.
- Usually, the second proof can be used for creating the index.
What is the revision process for?
- During revision, you check whether all the corrections noted during the first proofread have been correctly incorporated.
- Also, look out for subsequent errors: changing a word break may have introduced a new line break in the rest of the paragraph that follows (with possible new errors).
- Replace the last remaining square bullets (■■■) with cross references.
- Here you will find our instructions for entering corrections.
